Are these the ones, they were developing that were supposed to be inexpensive?
They really talked them up about 2 years ago, then crickets ?

A warning, after way too much talk, it seems you don’t actually hear the monitors:(
I hate this about Warren’s reviews, you typically hear his crappy lavalier mike. I write to him asking my he doesn’t set up a really high end stereo pair with really flat clean pre.
So, his videos would have good sound and comparability: crickets.

They look like it, I have played with woofer they use in a couple of modeling runs & people I respect like it, nobody I know has used the mid or tweeter. This is my # 1 bitch about YouTube reviews, but the Codec sucks anyway, at the very least if you want my respect at the very least get a decent headset mic or Sanken, Tram or MKE2! The manufacturers don’t mind because even if their gear sounds like crap they can blame it on the reviewer. |
