I'm interested in getting a cheap, bus-powered interface for learning songs on the go. In my studio, I just use UA console to mix computer audio and my bass, guitar or keyboard volume while I'm learning material for a gig.
Does anyone know if volt comes with any sort of software mixer that can handle this?

If you're comfortable with UA's Console you'd probably find it pretty easy to use. It's a similar user experience.

I'm currently just routing my computer's audio to a virtual channel in console. This way I just have output of Apple Music, Youtube, etc. on a fader and my instrument on another, so I can quickly balance them. I knew Luna would be an option, but I would ultimately like to avoid bringing a DAW into this equation. I suppose just finding a cheap Apollo Solo might be the best option as it would allow me to just use the same workflow with the Console App

Happy with the Volt 1. But… My (real) needs are quite limited. Just (hopefully) tracking a nice RAW vocal. For the occasional “important” request. Chris
