UAD plugins 2024?

I bought the Ultimate 12 bundle last November, when Sweetwater 'accidentally' blew it out for 2 bills. It's been nice for getting the native ports as they dropped instead of paying Spark monthly. Saw an open box Quad Satellite Firewire last week for $125 and pickd it up to try out the non-native ports in the package. Woof. It installed all the Softube/Brainworx plugs as demos in my plug-in list automatically, when I already own them all native from their developers. Played with the 480L compared to my 300, yeah, no, not really any closer than Relab. Compared the Korg to my SDD-3000, cool to have a plug-in version that operates the same way, but I've used pedal models that were closer tone wise. The latency is pretty crazy, I assume this stuff only gets used at mix by people, not for processing VIs and such while building a track. I'm only running it on my back-up Catalina/Intel Mac set-up as it's FW800, but after trying it I don't think I'd pursue a modern OS/M processor satellite version. Getting the native ports as they drop has been fun, even paid the $10 SSL update fee, but the whole system does seem technically played out if you're not an Apollo/Luna devotee.I guess that follows considering the price points you can get the stuff for now, the market has spoken.
