Also, it looks like I can currently get it for $366 at Thomann. Maybe I should just pull the trigger on that? That's not that much more than what it was going for when it was on sale last month. Id wait till Black Friday, Steinberg has regular holiday sales and it’s only a few weeks away. True. I was just thinking about previous comments that I had read about the 50% off being the lowest it had ever been, in which case $366 was probably about the lowest I could expect to see it during Black Friday anyway. If so, then not much reason to wait. But I need to demo Cubase anyway, before officially making the decision, so I should probably just wait to see what shakes out at BF. I mostly just was not wanting to miss the current sale at Thomann. In your experience, is it likely to see a BF price lower than the current price of $366 at Thomann?

The 50% off sale was really good but they regularly have good sales, it wasn’t out of the ordinary. Also check out competitive cross grade prices, you might find a better deal. But definitely wait for BF, between that and Xmas you’ll find it for the same or better.

Unless something drastic happens, or I come across some sort of feature-based deal breaker, I think I likely see Cubase in my future.
