nothing like the real thing. Original all the way. The syn is good but 2 dimensional in comparison. I think it's something about the way the transients smear.

I agree 100%, I owned 2 of these at points, this emu sounds as close as anything i've heard on video. I need to demo and hear it through my set up, I have no delusions it will match the real thing, in fact i guarantee it won't, I just hope it's close enough to use because i've never heard a clav emu that was. One thing i do know is i ain't dropping $5k or the square footage on a real clav i'll only record a few times a year |

Clav is the one vintage keyboard I've never played but would love to sometime. I've used Sonic Couture's VI for the past several years and find it pretty nice, but I look forward to seeing more about this. Like Tony, I can't see paying 5-6K for an instrument that I wouldn't use a ton.
