I hate these fake promotions! Any of them ? No never... The only two I'm interested in are on the excluded list... Silver Bullet & Wunderlich.

Agreed that the only ones I would consider are not on sale. Man! When I think about how many plugins I've bought because they "were a good deal".... Wow. I have hundreds of plugins I paid a lot for that I never even use. I have to get a different mind-frame. Only buy something if I have an actual need. If I took that seriously, my days of spending would be over.

So, what are the must have Plugin Alliance plugins besides the Silver Bullet? The Amek200 channel strip seems interesting. Has some things not usually seen in a lot of channel strips: mono maker, limiter

I used the Pick whatever to get the Silver Bullet, and the Neold U2A plug-in which who knows might be cool/better/different from the other LA-2A's out there. The Silver Bullet is pretty great, definitely a "better-sizer". Was working on a song and tossed it on with the N setting, Hitmaker 4000, and aspect ratio and it all just sounded better.

I landed the silver bullet in a recent sale - a month or so ago. After the Wunderlich now....waiting like a lion in the brush for them to take a drink and then pouce.

Pro Audio DSP DSM is great for 30 dollars. Otherwise hard to recommend anything unless you really want something.

MetricAB also is a great tool, or if you are on HDX they has some AAX DSP plugins that can be handy to have around

I've been partly successful in side-stepping plug-in sales for the last couple of years by creating a text list entitled 'NEW PLUG-INS STILL TO EXPLORE & ENJOY'. My list currently stands at 36 plug-ins that I've bought at absolute bargain sale or introductory prices, that I've yet to actively use in a project. This I find is a very useful deterrent from future purchases Martin

If I didn't already pay for thirty other things per month, the mega deal is pretty killer

My most used recent purchases are the Softube Weiss bundle and the TDR filters. Arbiter and Infrasonic are essential imo.

I've been using more/less the same plugs for a couple years and while I'll still get most new releases from a couple companies (TDR and Fuse) I now skip the latest/greatest of the day. These days I only get things I feel I can and will use. I stumbled across the Neold Warbler a while back and can see how that would work really well on a couple upcoming projects. I hear good things about the Silver Bullet too but I've got my 2-buss in a good spot (hardware EQ & comp, SDRR and Satin) so doubt I need it. It's only $20 if I'm getting the Warbler anyway but really trying to get away from buying redundant plugs.

This I find is a very useful deterrent from future purchases Martin I haven't made a list yet but I have uninstalled a few and moved a few to the disabled plugins folder. I need to do more (and stop buying - which I mostly have). It just helps to declutter (my mind mostly) when searching for a plugin to use. The plugin list has gotten way to long so I usually just skip right to one I already know... and that's not always good.

That’s a great idea…to make a list of stuff that’s never been used and start working them into sessions and see how it goes

I am a plugaholic and I've succumbed once again I held out from trying Fuse Audio's VCE-118 until three days before the generous intro expired. However, I bought it just five minutes after trying out the demo, as it's a wonderful and very different addition to my arsenal Martin

I have a percussion group that gets used a lot and often feel I need something between an EQ and a Sans-Amp style crunch. I stumbled on the Warbler and felt it would be perfect there, at least.

They’re running this again, just after the last one ended. I wonder if they’re going to a Waves model of everything on sale all the time, just without saying that.
