I would like to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and kind wishes....it is really appreciated.
Saw my doctor yesterday and we have a plan going forward... today I am off for carotid artery ultrasound....

Yes- Thank goodness, man you dodged a nightmare! Glad you are getting treatment, and very smart to warn us of the symptoms.. I’ve never heard anyone say in detail what it’s like, so that is a huge thumbs up- now I know!

I had the ultrasound on my carotid arteries in each side of my neck yesterday....it makes a weird noise..... for a second I thought about recording it and putting it in a song... then I thought fuck no...I never want to hear that sound again in my life....8).....well one safety check after all this is over is ok I guess....8)
Find out the results next week

Firstly let me say thank you for all the well wishes... and especially those who reached out privately...much appreciated.
Just got the all clear from the hospital... after all the tests I am good to go...
I will be on blood thinners for the rest of my days....and have to watch what I eat and look after myself... (don't smoke, don't drink, vegetarian...what the f*ck am I supposed to change...LOL.....)
