Mostly third party ones. The Three Body (Kirchhoff, Cenozoix), ADPTR (A/B) and Unfiltered Audio (all of it) stuff is unequivocally great. Other ones: -The Blackbox has a uniqueness to it I come back to a lot. This is another one I'd prefer to see modeled by a better company like Tone Projects or Pulsar Modular. -The new Vac Rac thingy was interesting. Does a specific pillowy / melty thing to drums that I like having in a plugin. -If you've never heard the Maaq / NTI thing, I think the plugin will do what it did for me and make me buy one of those boxes (which is absurdly better / more natural). But mostly, they're pretty disappointing. List out the ones I was particularly disappointed by: -I was so bummed when I read that the Knif boxes were being done by PA and predictably, the plugins were mediocre. I hope Jonte gets someone else to model his gear down the line. -The API and Neve stuff is second rate to the market. -MC77 is one of the worst 1176s on the market. A million bad decisions in such a simple plugin. -I did not get along with the Millennia TCL-2 at all. It's bad enough, vibeless enough that I don't know if I'll ever use Millennia gear on anything (yeah, I'm sure I'm being hyperbolic). -The SPL and Elysia emulations were novel when they came out, useful, but don't hold up. Comical next to the real boxes, but I'll give it a pass since this is 10+ years now.
Trying to avoid these guys but the smaller developers seem to be using them like a storefront / marketing platform.
Neold v76u73 wrecks the Audified u73b and UAD Manley. It's up there with legendary Klanghelm MJUC and the newer DDMF Magic Death Eye. Their other stuff is weird and cool.

The sale is ending in the next day or two. I believe the $10 off coupons are still available but if that is on their website it is well hidden.
Cheers, Geoff

Just a heads up. Last day for the sale. You can use the $10 off voucher on all the plugins that you want. As long as they are over $20. Am pondering one of the Neold ones.

And now they have a bundle deal. LTL doesn’t seem to be excluded so for those wanting to pick up the Silver Bullet, now would be the time.

I'm grabbing a couple myself. Here's the fine print on what is excluded:
The following plugins are not eligible for the pick your own deal offer: Dear Reality dear VR Music and NEOLD Wunderlich, all plugins made by ADPTR Audio Plugins, Three Body Technology, Izotope, and Native instruments are also not eligible for this offer.

+1 for the townhouse comp. I use a C2 most of the time but I did some extensive blind testing a while back and I walked away very impressed by the townhouse.

I couldn't figure out what to get for the second plugin so I ended up getting the chopshop. I know that goes cheaper sometimes, but figured those were the only two really calling my name.

Good choice. I really like the Chop Shop. Sometimes it’s all the eq you need. Cheers, Geoff

Yeah I saw that. I really wanted Nfuse too…but I’m getting to the point where I’m buying shit just because it’s cheap and not because I need it.

Yeah I saw that. I really wanted Nfuse too…but I’m getting to the point where I’m buying shit just because it’s cheap and not because I need it. I think I am finally at the point where I am kinda done with eqs and compressors. I mean how many flavours of an La2a do I really need? I am mildly interested in the Tomo thing and the Dsm thing. They may bring something new but at this point, I think i am actually going to break my plugin compulsion. There are still a couple things I want. A phase alignment tool, although there are workarounds in Logic, a 2 bus tape machine maybe? I dunno. I look at all the PA stuff and I did pick up a few over the last few months, but out of the oodles I don’t have there’s not really anything exciting me at the moment. All that said, I do think the SB is worth picking up. Cheers, Geoff

All that said, I do think the SB is worth picking up. Cheers, Geoff SB == Silver Bullet, I assume. It really impressed me listening to the demos. Even on a pair of so-so monitors, you could tell a big difference. I listened to the Vac Attack on the same monitors and couldn't really tell any difference - not enough to notice anyway, so I passed on that one. I picked up the SB, BetterMaker, and Neold V76U73 at roughly $20 each - worth the money for that deal.

Yeah I saw that. I really wanted Nfuse too…but I’m getting to the point where I’m buying shit just because it’s cheap and not because I need it. Same. I'm still using Vintage Warmer and Radiator regularly. I tried the new Neold Wurlinger channel strip and I'm sure it's classy and all but it's just too clean for me. The same with half the Fuse vpres. Hit lightly they must be cleaner than many of the prosumer circuits in cheap interfaces. I end up using the TCS-68 Tascam 688 MIDISTUDIO channel strip and the 562A Grampian PA amp the most.

What's the lowest MetricAB can go for? I noticed above it wouldn't qualify for the current sale.
