Pultecs all the way. I have a pair of the Audioscapes and they never disappoint. Can’t make them sound bad. You see that Stam with the MEQ added in? Great idea. I did see that. stam was gonna send me one to test a while back… didn’t happen, but I’m sure it’s amazing. I have a bunch of Josh’s gear and it all sounds fantastic! |

Update…ordered an Iron Age LH95….Matt kind of directed me to their H9 but after listening to some demos of the 95, and checking out my sieq plugin vs my Helios plug, I kind of preferred the Siemans thing for a general purpose tone shaper. Anyway, I want a pair eventually, so instead of the Chandler opto, I went with the Pete’s Place BAC. I only have a 3 space rack (on purpose). Awesome I love matt@IAA LH95 - I should get a pair of them for room EQs, cos I have my only one on crotch mic, permanently, since I track a lot of drums. It's a beautiful EQ! |
