Help me invest in multiple channels of analog EQs

The Links I built because it’s all through hole. I did the EQ Brown knob, from e series, I don’t know how it compares to smd SSL stuff. I can tell you all the ugly warts of 80’s era EQ are there, something I don’t get from plugins(noise floor requires gain staging, overload sounds like a bug zapper). At first I was concerned because plug-ins do sound smoother, this is a little analog. But then a few more tests, the resonances and overall tone sounds familiar, sweet and rich, like the entire MTV era. Actually it made me think of an album done by TLA.. on a Sony digital reel to reel,- which dawned on me it made sense (SSL EQ into digital, duh). That’s about where I’m at. I like it, LOVE it actually, for tapping into CD era sounds.
