What I need is both male and female backing vox. The rest I have covered. Something you can help with John? I would check Soundbetter. Although, you could also hire me for the male lol.

This thread offering great session musicians and creating behind the scenes videos is amazing. We're lucky.
I heard a rumor the Nashville numbering system influenced roman numerals?

Funny enough, I am right now looking around for a fiddle player for a singer/songwriter I’m working with (Americana). Got anyone in that lane? Would be perfect to send the rough mix and maybe they could provide a few different passes (3?) so we can pick and choose from the returned tracks.

Using session players not only produced better results but involved far less work and stress for us compared to an artist who wants to use their former old school band members/friends etc. thinking it will save them money.
1. It won’t save them money or time when they get the bill for the many retakes and hours of editing and comp’ing to try a cobble something passable together.
2. The end result will be far better.
3. They can include the names of respected musicians in their album credits which can add some kudos to the finished product.

I’ve come to realize that me trying to play like these guys will never happen…and me trying to get there is beyond frustrating and rarely sound pro to me.
