Kcat mentioned to me that it might be a good time to have another Real Gear meetup in Nashville soon. It would be great fun to put a face to some of the names here. I'm new to town and a night out with my real Gear buddies would be a great way for me personally to begin stepping out.
I live in the Downtown area, slightly north, five minutes from everything. I'm directly across the street from the Nashville Farmers Market and the Bicentennial Park. I'm close to the Gulch and Germantown. I'm in a huge modern building with parking and two huge lounge spaces. One has a free coffee shop, the other huge space has lots of seating, outdoor terraces, a wraparound view of the Nashville skyline and also has a soundproof room for playing music.
Meeting here would be easy if people thought it was a good idea. Also, if anyone knows of a club or restaurant where we could hang, that could be cool too.
Anyway, let me know if you're interested. I'm open to any date, but maybe the 1st or 2nd week in March?

I would love to fly out for something like that. I have to get out to Nashville anyway for other reasons, so my two cents would be maybe plan a little bit further out so some folks like me could fly into town.
It’s a cheap flight from Texas but I’d still need to plan.

April 8th is Easter weekend for those of us that celebrate such things so not a great weekend to travel, but I'm really into the idea of coming out to Nashville so let's keep this idea alive. |

I could do April 8th. I have to say - this kind of thing gives me anxiety. Not to be a baby back bitch…it’s just the idea if having to please hundreds of people. The first get together was totally impromptu and amazing - Don was there and got up and played the whole night with a band we just happened to hang with. Love to meet up, I just can’t be the pivot guy this time.

I was thinking the same thing gravesnumber9. Also, there's a huge party space in my building. I'm a half mile from downtown Nashville, in an easy access building with free parking. The room looks great and can handle 10-100 people. So it would be easy to set up to meet there. It might be more fun to meet in a venue though. What do you guys think?

I’d love to attend, but can’t make the 8th. I live close to town so I’m pretty flex, just not that date. Any other Saturday in April is good for me. Party on without me though!!
