I got mine a few weeks ago. Only really got to use it on one session. I had already set up the drums by the time I got it, so I just stuck it on guitars. Gotta say, paired with a dark ribbon (oktavamod apex 205), it sounded fantastic- I think this will be my new starting point for a lot of guitar cabs.
It’s not overly bright, but I don’t think it would pair well with my XY beyer mc930s on drum overhead so I will prob stick to the beesneez 67 in that regard. Haven’t tried it on a vocal yet and I don’t have any big tracking sessions for a few more weeks. I’ll keep you all posted.
FWIW, I don’t get many crooners or pop productions so unsure how helpful my review might be

Only negative thing for me so far is the shockmount. It’s just not so easy to get it tight in there - to the point that I don’t know that I’d ever try hanging it upside down.
If I’m remembering correctly, the XLR barrel is threaded - I wish the shockmount made use of it. Though I’m sure that would probably impact the price point.

Thanks, Mr. Damage! I'm looking forward to the vocal (or AG) results. As soon as I like a mic I immediately grab the appropriate Rycote mount and dump the spider into the garbage -- so, I'll gladly keep cost down with an included shitty mount "ain't nobody got time for dat!"

I got to borrow one this week (thanks Mark Kano )! I always enjoy your videos, they are always calm and well-made! Enjoyed your little music sample too, nice voice and playing! The SA87T matched you very nicely I think.

Well, Josh seawell, Josh stam would do well to send you one and help promote that. That was a VERY convincing demo.

Josh has been very generous to me and the channel so I like to surprise him when I get a chance to get ahold of some of his gear that he didn't have to send me.

Another amazing review by Josh Seawell! I feel inclined to say, stam Audio is a very special company that the Pro Audio community is blessed to have. It's not that I can't also say that about some other companies, but I do believe Stam Audio is a unique gem.

From its description it kind of looks like a U87 with the innertube kit. Kind of sounds like it a bit too from seawell’s clips.
