Just bought a Coil 48v box for my Coil tube pre's :
Does the 48v box go inbetween the microphone and the tube preamp? Is it Mic->48Vbox-> preamp or Mic-> preamp -> 48vbox?
Trying to find an answer online and I cant and my new Coil 48v box didnt come with a manual.. Thanks for the help!

Shouldn't your preamp have phantom already? What model? Regardless, if you're using an external 48v source, it should go between the mic and pre.

Your mike only needs 48v once, isn’t it on the pre ?

No I'm using a Coil Audio tube pre - they don't come with 48v built in

No I'm using a Coil Audio tube pre - they don't come with 48v built in Between the mic and the pre, think about in this simple way : it’s a universal supply for FET mics like a dedicated PSU for a tube mic. The mic needs the power not the pre.
