It’s $10 at Plugin Boutique and they give you “bucks” when you buy through them and I had a few to put towards it. Haven’t had a chance to try it…out of town this weekend

Would it be helpful to change the name of this thread to 'Plugin Sales'? And maybe have a new thread for 'Physical Gear Sales' or something?

Sure, I’ll change the title, why don’t you start the other?

Out of curiosity I bought Kiive Distinct! for $7…read it was based on the Overstayer Modular Channel which peaked my interest I also bought Kiive Distrinct! V1 some months back for the same reason, and while it sounded good it included a few strange choices (I measured its ODD mode -3dB low end roll-off at a high 53Hz, while with an -18dB input signal, EVEN mode initially had its 2nd harmonic way down at -60dB. Oversampling latency was also reported incorrectly to the host). As a result I got involved in some online discussions with its developer on 'another forum' (the purple one ), which eventually resulted in version 2.0.1, which is a lot more versatile: gearspace.com/board/showpost.php?p=15974518&postcount=123It's great that some developers are so open to suggestions, and so quick to implement them!

As long as ST hasn't changed polity, you can eventually use that as a path to a discounted upgrade.

VI-Control always does a big Black Friday sales list each year that covers tons of vendors. Looks like it just went live for 2022.

Personally, I think so. The first time I demoed Soothe, I didn’t really understand why people were so enthusiastic about it. Even though I thought it potentially brought something new to the table, I just didn’t think it sounded that great. When they upgraded it it to Soothe2, I demoed again, and this time, i found it more helpful. I don’t know if v2 genuinely sounds that much better, or if I had more time with the demo, or if something else just clicked - but regardless, I find it quite helpful now, and it may be the best “make things smoother” plugin out there. I also like DSEQ for this, and I think it also sounds great, but Soothe2 has a superior interface and workflow to me. And IME, Spiff is one of the better “transient designer” type plugins. They’re both certainly worth a demo.

if i didn't own so many damn UAD plugs, their sale for the bundles is easily the best deal i've ever seen them have.
