I met Vic at my very first AES tradeshow in 2014. He came over to my booth and offered a lot of encouragement regarding the direction of Locomotive. He even offered to help distribute in the UK. We spoke about business and the amount of time it would take for the market to respond to a new product line. And he was right. It's a lifelong process for some small businesses. He just said, "keep pushing even when it seems too difficult." I think he really loved what he was able to do. He designed awesome gear and made a mark. We all want that. :-) RIP

Wasn't that a Malcolm Cecil quote? (obscure reference for synthesiser cognoscenti ) I believe it actually dates back to an old joke about Tonto and The Lone Ranger. They are surrounded by a group of hostile Native Americans and the Ranger looks over at Tonto and says "Hey, Tonto, what should we do now?" And Tonto replies "Who 'we', paleface?"
That joke dates to my days as a cub scout, in the '50s....

Er... you're q uite correct John, but ...
...if you look up Malcolm Cecil you'll find that he was the inventor of the unique TONTO synthesizer ("The Original New Timbral Orchestra": the world's first and still the largest multi-timbral polyphonic analog synthesizer)
Hence my joke (I did say it was an obscure reference for synthesiser cognoscenti )
Ahhh!
