I've been editing some drums on my smoking new machine and keep getting into a situation where I can't grab a MIDI note to move it. If I close the session and reopen, it'll work fine. Came across a thread on the DUC: duc.avid.com/showthread.php?p=2648008#post2648008What a huge PITA. Literally just spent 8 grand on a computer, edrums, and sample libraries and can't edit MIDI in Pro Tools. Bananaland.

I've never edited MIDI in exactly that way. Never had a problem. Seems counter intuitive to me. I don't generally use the groove templates though. Maybe that's where the bug is? Or maybe it's in the latest version?

Or maybe it's in the latest version? This is more complicated than what I'm seeing. Maybe I can repeat it and screen record.

Happened to me the other day, but I just closed PT and re-opened. No issues since.....

Looks like 2022.9 should solve it!
