$80 off limited quantity of Mini K47x (different from their standard Mini K47) roswellproaudio.com/collections/all/products/mini-k47x-condenser-microphone?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=campaign&_kx=NDgCNySBGHYj3AtxErLJO6vMRWzuPHgMaJEwRuWp-qc%3D.KBe66HWhat do you get when you combine the circuit magic of the best-selling Mini K67x with the K47 capsule from the most popular mic in our catalog? We are excited to announce the new Roswell Mini K47x ! Midrange detail from the K47 capsule Tube-like harmonic saturation from the transformer circuit Includes our Cutaway shockmount and flight case The Mini K47x provides a unique and compelling combination of the attributes of our two most popular microphones, while retaining the "point and shoot" simplicity of the Mini K mic family. Like all Roswell microphones, the Mini K47x is assembled and tested in California, using the premium components and meticulous care for which Roswell is known. COLOR, CHARACTER, TONE. PICK ANY THREE. The mic's name, "K47x," refers both to the capsule design and circuit topology. The capsule is our K47, found in the best-selling Mini K47. The "x" refers to the transformer-coupled circuit, which gives the mic its trademark harmonic saturation. Every Roswell microphone is subjected to a 24-hr "burn in" on our proprietary conditioning fixture, then tested extensively prior to shipping: polarity, noise, frequency response, sensitivity, and more. We perform an acoustic sweep test and listen to every microphone multiple times before it leaves our facility. The Mini K47x has a durable metallic paint finish; the color is Metallic Indigo. Each mic ships with our exclusive Cutaway™ shockmount, Roswell branded microfleece mic sock, and an upgraded flight case. A very limited quantity of the Mini K47x is in stock, ready for immediate shipping. We anticipate a delay in filling subsequent orders due to the popularity of the mic at launch.

I'm curious about this. How do you take a U67 type circuit and attach a K47 capsule to it? The U67/87 type circuit has a hi-cut filter in it due to the capsules being very bright on their own. Did he remove that filter? If not, I would expect it to be a very dark mic. There must be more to it.

First batch sold out. Extending the discount to "subscribers"...I don't know if that means they will check to see if you're an email subscriber or not to get the discount. Can't tell you anything about the circuit, but here's the product page: roswellproaudio.com/products/mini-k47x-condenser-microphone?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=campaign&_kx=NDgCNySBGHYj3AtxErLJO6vMRWzuPHgMaJEwRuWp-qc%3D.KBe66H"Our first production run of Mini K47x sold out pretty much instantly after last Friday's announcement. I would rather help people buy the mic than tell them they missed a discount, so I've extended the introductory sale. Scroll down for the coupon code. The only way we can swing that price is to add a couple conditions to the offer: 1 mic per person Sale-price mics do not include a case. You would receive the mic, a vinyl zipper pouch, and our Cutaway shockmount. Standard-color Mini K47x will ship in late October. Custom Shop colors would ship immediately." Coupon Code: K47x-INTRO-NO-CASE TeeJay: I don't have any affiliation with Roswell, and I don't own any of their product. Just passing this along in case it benefits anyone.

I've got 47s covered. I'm really curious about the frequency response and saturation provided in the k67x.
Thanks!

We've used it for micing guitar and bass guitar cabinets to good result. It seems it can be a decent mic on anything, really.
