I think I saw it posted here in the spring or maybe even last year. I’m sure it’s gone by now but was just hoping to find the old listing. Anyone remember this?

That is cool looking but this place was different. I remember it had a huge roof deck and seemed like a few acres. The studio was a separate building. I don’t think it came with any gear or wiring or anything

Larry DeVivo,
Great guy, good friend. He recently sold is house / Studio in Saratoga, NY, and I believe is going to relocate on Cape Cod. or is trying to find a place as we speak!
As far as I know Dan Goodwin, didn't own the "A" frame house (Isokan) he was in for quite a few years. Not sure he could sell it as a studio... Although he moved to a new location not too long ago.
And Henry Hirsch, did haver a Helios, in the Church in Hudson NY. I went up there a few times... He sold the console, & the Church, retired.
That Helios console was sold to a "Frenchman" who was lived here in NY, who name escapes me at the moment. He later re-opened that studio that Kevin Augunas had for a while, which was Fairfax Records / Studio. Also known as "Sound City" in Van Nuys California
Not sure what happened to that facility or console.

What was the guys name with the Helios console? Henry Hirsch? Henry is/was Lenny Kravitz guy... Are you gonna go my way? Mama Said? Yeah. Yes his place was a renovated church in Hudson. Went on the market several years ago... I remember making a record at a different joint in 2018 & we had a conversation about it. And yes nobtwiddler is right that desk ended up at Sound City in LA and I'm pretty sure is still there. Will have to come back when I've got more time. Know more then a few people up that way & work out of some of the nicer joints whenever possible... couple of 'em? The studios are always for sale. Not like, "listed with brokers" but more like, if someone walked in with a million bucks cash? Adios they're off to the beach. Bummer to hear about Larry/Silvertone. Didn't know him well but was always a nice guy whenever I made contact. Anyway this is/was Henry's spot...

I remember that article... yeah dated 2018 that lines up.
Waterfront was Henry's spot in Hoboken/Weehawken NJ where they did the first couple Kravitz albums. I'm not sure when he moved to Hudson.
