Kinda shocked there don’t seem to be any posts about these things. I’m primarily a drummer and I have/had/played on a ton of nice kits. These things absolutely slay them all.
I snagged a 24” kick some months back and was utterly floored. So loud, focused, responsive and an utter joy to play. I just bought a three piece this week and am equally impressed.
They don’t come up used much for good reason. I honestly cannot imagine ever wanting another brand of kit again.
They have a great rep for recording - while I’ve only put mics on that 24” kick so far, I have some high expectations, based on that experience.
They do cost an arm and a leg but do yourself and the drummers you record a favor and get yourself a kit!
Much as I wish I were, I am not sponsored by them in any way, shape or form. Just truly impressed by these instruments.
(To mods - apologies if this fits better in the guitar/bass/drum section. I think this is just as relevant to recording folks)

I'd forgotten about these. I remember looking them up when Don Gunn posted a couple of videos of has snare. I think he ordered a whole set, but I don't know what ever came of that.
What did you end up with besides the 24"? Did you get a wrap, a spun color or the 'traditional' Blaemire set?

Has anyone heard of Noble & Cooley? The oldest drum manufacturer in the US. Just heard about them the other day & was wondering about the sound.

They were the first people that were noticed making single ply drums after years of no one doing it since the Radio Kings of the 40s. Then then got into ply drumsets and those also sound wonderful. My late friend Chris Garges had several of their snares and sets. When I was in Charlotte for his memorial, his first set was used for his memorial concert and sounded great with several drummers playing it. In his studio, Old House, a different N&C set was set up and I played on it for about 15 minutes and it was a complete joy to play.

The kit I got is glitter bronze I guess I’d say - 13/16/22. Though all three are a little shallower than my pref, but it was $1700 vs $3200 for the custom kit I actually want and can’t even put an order in for yet. Really would encourage you to check them out. What a joy to play!! I mean there’s probably a reason Electrical Audio have a couple of their kits
