PSP discounts older products all the time for 20-40 dollars a pop. 40% off isn't a great deal.
Infinistrip EMT 2445 Triple Meter Impressor Saturator 608MD Vintage Warmer Are all worth it for 40% off.
I love almost all of their plugins though. Old Timer is still great. Avedis E27 is awesome. PreQursor 2 is cool. NobleQex is a Pultec with expanded filters. You can just get them for 30 bucks if you wait.

NobelQ is nice. I have an actual PCM41, but always figured I'd get their 42 it if the hardware ever shit the bed.

I don't know why I love the PSP42 so much. Its GUI is ridiculously tiny in 2022. Maybe I should replace it with something else, as I have to fire up two instances in Reaper to get different L and R delays, but I haven't found anything quite like it. I can't get Valhalla Delay to sound like it.
I think its regular price of 199 is worth it. But if there's a $20-40 sale, get it immediately.

Edit: Just realized it was only some plugins that got the update.
