Wait, is this a one-and-done? Please pardon my naviete here... I don't even have an IG account if it's been stated there. Maybe I'll have to reach out to Matt about a smaller format mixer... Don't want to put words in Matt's mouth but my understanding, when I asked directly was the console is super limited but yes they could build another. Maybe one a year? He'll check in here at some point I'm sure. Maybe it will come in a kit. 😜

Very impressive indeed. I have never attempted building a console, but back in the day ( before my time) Full Compass built a couple of consoles, most of the talent was still around either at Fullco or our sister company Inelix, so a trip down the hall meant meant lots of stories. A custom full blown board is 8 times the labor you think. I almost bought one of the old Clone Tone beasts from one of the local TV stations, it was still being used for a radio production every week as of 99, but I’m sure I could have talked them into a straight trade for a Mackie, I mean can you see the station manager saying “ NO” in front of the trophy case with filled with all the awards with my name on them?😎

Maybe it will come in a kit. 😜 Sure! He'd probably sell you the Mouser parts list for $20..? Drill press & CNC machines not included of course. Some assembly required.

Sorry just saw this. Thanks for the kind words everyone. Yes there are components on both sides of the PCBs. No, they’re regular 100 mm faders. Yes we can make more - this was a custom job that began with a blank sheet of paper. No, I don’t think we’ll ever have a “list” model that we stock or make on spec.
Pricing on a similar console if we began today would be in the $2k/channel range.
This one ain’t done yet - those are just placeholder side panels.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Matt and Fernando in person for the first time. Two smarter and kinder gentlemen you couldn’t ask for. We went through the entire console functionality testing everything from inputs to inserts to routing and meter calibration. I watched them troubleshoot & resolve minor issues in a matter of minutes…incredible. Everything is working and sounding great. This massive undertaking has been executed with the same craftsmanship and expertise as all of their gear. More soon! https://www.instagram.com/tv/CbmHtYuDx7B

If anyone is interested in one, I’m putting together a group to help spec out a design. Looking for 3-4 people who want the same thing, but plenty of opportunity for input up front.

If you have any tube microphones, I strongly recommend the QP5 preamp. It is strident and forward and ultra fast and makes any tube mic sound stronger and clearer than most other preamp designs. I am tremendously pleased with what it has done for my 67, H47 and other tube mics. That says a lot. It does for tube mics what the Audioscape Golden 58 does for Neumann LDCs. Balances them out. Highly recommended.
