So here's a track I've been sitting on for a bit waiting for the artist to come finish the other tracks and such. Beezneez U87 with CAPI312 and Rev A 1176 going into the converters. Very little EQ and compression and a little Melodyne, but overall mostly exactly how it sounded raw. Diane

The polarity thing happens a lot and I'm not sure if there's a right or wrong as my Stam 87 , Beesneez Arabella and Gefell CMV 563 are all reverse polarity to what conventionally is considered correct . Who knows? Cheers, Ross Well some people insist on sticking with the old Fashioned protocols.
Pin 3 hot was standard in the US broadcast and recording industries right up until the AES endorsed Pin 2, probably to resolve the conflict between US and Euro standards in the 1970s. There was a fair amount of resistance in the US audio world. I believe there's still one guy in the SF area whose license plate still reads "PIN3HOT"
