I''m in a room that is 11x14x9. I expected more bottom end. I have the bass extension set to +10. That seems right to me though the graphic suggests I am approaching this backwards. What is the proper setting if I want more bottom end? It is -10? If so, seems backwards - lol.

+ increases - decreases volume.
No offense, that seems odd that you want that much more volume.
Have you experimented with their proximity to the back corners/ walls and or moved further away ?
Perhaps you are monitoring in a room null for lower frequencies?

I would run some test with an analyzer to find out what's really going on. Placement could cause some drastic dips and peaks. I was able to get a 10dB improvement by experimenting with speaker placements while using Sonarworks for calibrating.

I have measured in here before and it actually is much better than I ever expected, on paper. W/H/D are all different, which helps and I have a combo of GIK traps and other lesser treatments. I'm sure it's partially that. I know my room is not immune.

Have you used a room mode calculator ?

Just bumped into this: thought it could be helpful ! He is right you can’t change the room modes with a sub, but depending on the sub, crossover point and DSP you can overcome most . You need to have an understanding of how these filters work though. Is acoustic treatment a better solution? If done correctly and if you are using tuned treatment yes, but it is far more expensive and will eat floor space. Plus you have to get the tuning right. The best solution is most often a Hybrid of DSP and treatment.

Funny how this became about my room. Just looking at the chart on the video cover pic, my analysis is much better than what is shown, with my current treatment. Thanks for the concern guys.
