I added a bunch more pics including interior framing, siding, and paint! This is pretty much where we are now, except we have also finished the electrical work. We're getting ready to start on HVAC and audio panels and wiring....

Absolutely awesome!!! Beautiful project, man.
Any insight on what you'll do with the gaps where the splayed control room walls, etc., are happening?

Absolutely awesome!!! Beautiful project, man. Any insight on what you'll do with the gaps where the splayed control room walls, etc., are happening? Thanks!! The plans don't call for anything inside the splayed wall cavities, or above the angled ceiling, so I believe they just function as air gaps. However, I will definitely confirm that before we seal it off!

Side note, the studio doesn't have any dedicated storage, but I do have a 200 sq ft conditioned outbuilding nearby. This is where instruments and extra gear will be stored. And while I've sold off most of my gear to fund the building, I do have my Neotek Elite, my Bricasti reverb, and an AKG BX-20 stowed away until they're ready to move to the studio. Here's a few pics while we wait for the next stage of the studio to be finished: Inside the AKG Reverb:

So more than 6 months later, and I'm still working on getting the HVAC done. Electrical is finished, some insulation, plus some re-framing of the control room (twice!), and septic/plumbing are finished. I guess that's some progress...... I'm hoping to finish this thing by April, so more updates soon........

Hi Matt! Sorry to hear of the slowdown and frustrations. Part of that is construction, but I hear ya on the HVAC stuff. HVAC parts - the only thing more pandemic supply chain distressed than audio parts! After my lightning strike, I'm still waiting on electronic logic boards. The HVAC has been down quite awhile now and I'm surviving with those roll around HVAC units that sound like aircraft taking off in the CRM. It's taking forever.
BTW - is it Fujitsu by any chance?
I wish you well and hope you make some great progress soon. Looks amazing so far!!

Well . . . we all know how we got here, not we've just got to try and find ways to get back to where we were or go somewhere else. Hope it's all sorted soon.
