So if there's one piece of gear that I'm guessing a lot of folks leave on one setting, it's the Silver Bullet. I might make some tweaks (particularly on the HF knob) but these seems like a likely candidate to have at least a pretty standard starting template for mix bus usage.
I'll start...
I do mostly "real" instruments along with piano/organ VI's in a kind of indie rock or indie folk style. Here's what I start with, all numbers measured in "o'clock" type settings.
A - N
A at 10:00 gain, 2:00 out N at 9:30 gain, 5:00 out
Tight and tone in
LF at 1:30
Bass and Air in
HF is most variable but it ranges from 1:00 to 5:00... usually starts around 3:00
Vintage in
What about you?

Mine is very similar to yours with the difference being a little more gain on the A and N. The rest is virtually identical to what I use. But it is interesting that I have been liking the A into N as well as perhaps my favorite setting, as opposed to just A or N, and not N into A.
Another difference is that sometimes I will add a touch of presence. What I like about the SB2, is that one can add presence and air! It is at least nice to have that option.
Cheers!

When I first got the SB I expected I would prefer N to A but I'm nearly always an A to N guy and it's usually not even close. Go figure.

I choose between N or A depending on the material— roughly 10 and two settings. Currently I use my Chambord EQ so I often bypass the tone settings on the SB. I’m using the Tight button engaged more and more on songs that need glue and focus on the low end—it’s sorta the SB secret weapon.

I wish they sold it as a standalone. Totally agree on the "tight" button. For the style of stuff I do it's a no-brainer setting.

I typically use A>N as well. I use A with Gain somewhere between 9 and 10 o’clock. Output is then set to it’s unity gain setting of 3, or 2 o’clock, respectively. For N I often just set it to min Gain and Max Output. For 2-bus EQ (on mk1) I’m a Sub and Air guy. Often Tight and Vintage is in, but it depends on the material. I usually have Sub at 1:00 or 1:30, and Air between 2:00 and 3:00. On the mk2 I’m still figuring out what I like. There’s so many new options to explore. Brad
