Any new thoughts on the Kirchhoff? Demo it. What's to think about? Pretty obvious it's one of the most feature rich options out there. Like a Pro EQ 3 with even more choices offered.

I've been using Kirchhoff a lot more lately. In some ways, the dynamics section has almost too many options. I like to work fast and it does slow me down a little. I think if I made some templates of common tasks, I could speed things up a lot. Overall, no complaints. I don't think there is another EQ with a dynamics section that works any better. For simple EQ tasks, I still reach for Crave EQ more often, but that may change.

I did a couple masters for someone doing a film score yesterday. Kirchhoff really came in handy. The score was done with samples and there were a few issues with the mix where single notes were jumping out. I used the dynamic section of Kirchhoff and was able to completely clean up the problem areas in both scores. I know I could have done it with F6 or Nova as well, but the workflow of Kirchhoff worked out very well and I was able to get the masters done on time. Well worth the money. If anyone is on the fence, I would recommend picking it up.

Something not mentioned often, but I really appreciate the ff heat eq map showing frequency overlaps by parts and in total and it’s copy eq function, how it analyzes an existing part so a second can sound as close as possible to the first: can be handy in a pinch !

The 117bit button + 2x oversampling makes a real difference. Compared to all of the usual EQ suspects. From your experience, how does it fare in terms of CPU-load vs. the usual suspects? Kirchhoff boasts "Extreme CPU Optimization", and they are not joking around ! With this EQ, This IS Rocket Science ! It has the most complete and comprehensive feature set, the cleanest and most open sound, and the lowest CPU usage of any other dynamic EQ that I have ever tried. The EQ is Legit . . . "The Real Deal Holyfield". When they say "EQs will never be the same" . . . Yet again, they are not joking around. This one is indeed a game changer. "There's a new sheriff f in town, and his name is Kirchhoff". (-;
