it's cool and worth $29 for sure. i use a lot on overheads - sometimes just the ribbons. one fun thing is with the sub and 40 hz bands. you crank one and pull back on the other for drum buss - can be cool.

lpedrum at this price, I’d say buy. The air band can be a very surgical tool, not to cut but to boost. Sometimes, say you are digging your mix but you want to just lift one element a little, the air band has saved me a couple of times on lead Vox for example.

I never really dug it, for the most part thought you could do it with most really clean parametrics.

I love the EQ4, especially on vocals and things like piano. I spent a good few hours trying to get other EQs I own to sound like it during a trial period. Nothing sounded just like it.
Specifically the Air band can go too far, but when used right, nothing gets you there faster. But the other bands are really nice for tone shaping.

I never really dug it, for the most part thought you could do it with most really clean parametrics. No need for this when I have Slick EQ GE, PSP E27, and the balling fuse vqp-258 langevin shelf. Drive that thing hot and it gets wild.
