Please share because my problems are a lot like yours re: PT hardware inserts and delay comp. Including the early return when you set round trip in i/o.

Interesting, because a friend was asking me yesterday about Cubase delay compensation because he was frustrated that anything less than the 5k protools HDX is problematic using OTB comps. Is that accurate about protools? It’s pretty easy to set up external effects in Cubase.

I still need help with sidechaining latent compressors with latent busses. It doesn’t work well at all with any daw! I tried to build my own de-esser for the overhead bus with Molot GE for working fast attack and cool darkening saturation but it didn’t work at all half the time in Reaper and phased and overshot a lot! Mixbus it just doesn’t work! Pro Tools has issues too with it.
