Yeah, I meant I already have a pair of them. Waiting on the 251s tho… and Tim is right his capsule and whole mic are something special. Sound absolutely incredible

I have really been enjoying my Stam 609. I'm not saying you can't get it to sound clean but I tend to gravitate to a little saturation. Interesting story, I have a client that is a straight in the box guy and we were running a mix through my rig. I dialed in the SA33609 on a grand piano that was prominent in the mix. It sounded huge and gooey. I loved it and my ITB buddy thought it sounded too dirty. Each to their own. I am still working on a video demo of this piece, my Vintech CA609 and the Heritage but I'm having troubles acquiring a Heritage. If anyone has one in the Northeast region that wants to have some fun, let me know.

Bumping this one back up, as I just got my email for the newer Mk2 version. Anybody care to chime in on the new mods? I wasn't expecting an updated unit, but hey, looks cool to me!
