Still waiting on mouser order due to back orders. Estimate 3-4 weeks still.
The prefab boards arrived within 1 week of ordering so have those.

Rack case.
Its worth waiting for as its $20 at mouser and $90 delivered from local suppliers.

Progress has been slowed. Over the past 2 months my spare time has been taken up moving my father into aged care and cleaning and packing away his fav possessions into storage.

ok it's time to bring it home. this one has been sitting for a while and i don;t want to let matts generosity go unfinished.
so, i have all of the boards done and now need a case.
so i bought a case, but it wasn't a case, ended up being some wierdo plastic thing. no wonder it was so cheap!!
so where can i get a good diy case? collective cases? any other options.

For rackmount collective cases is good, but you’ll have to either drill your own panels or see if he has something that will work in stock. Not a deal for the front but the back punches for an XLR can be a pain.
You could also go with one of the prototype design shops, but that’s a bit pricier and takes some work in their drafting tools.
