Which do you love? I just purchased 3 Electrodyne 511's and they sound fantastic. The Silver Bullet's EQ bit me with the Analog EQ bug, and it seems like 500 series is a good way to go about getting a good amount of EQ channels for less money. I do prefer something with mojo rather than transparent, but priority is musicality, the SB and electrodynes sound so natural its amazing. I'm now considering SSL 611, CAPI (don't know which though), Great river harrison.. so, what are your favorites?

Mine is sort of a throw-away opinion because I haven’t used all that many hardware EQs (< a dozen probably) but the ones that have stuck around in my modest setup are a pair of GR Harrison and a pair of DIYRE EQP5. I really like both. GR Harrison for smooth, creamy, super flexible sculpting and the EQP5s for broad kinda sweeteners.
Edit: I’ve been around a lot of nice hardware, but in my band/session days I wasn’t twiddling those knobs so I don’t count that as really experiencing them.

The Analog Allstars Pultec is good if you can get one. Neither API 550 type I own is available anymore so....CAPI flavor?

A-Designs EM-PEQ is fantastic. Also check out a new company, Pope Audio from the UK. They make a two knob Baxandall EQ that sounds great on demos.

I'm now considering SSL 611 It's worth noting that this appears to have been EOL'd and replaced with the E-EQ:

Not sure I trust these new SSL revisions.
I'm thinking logically and I just dont see how this: 611
Can sonically match the vintage module:
The internals are vastly different, the size and sheer amount of the components etc...
The resistors in the vintage are like 5x the size - surely this changes the sonics?
I know its 500 series vs non 500 but man do they look different.

I like the DIYRE EQP5. ‘Pimped’ mine out with my choice of couple different freq points, upgraded caps, discrete Opamp and transformer to my preference. Even went with some different knobs. But overall great little box and sounds good even stock as well.

Heritage 73eq jr - awesome on bass. Lots of mojo. I am waiting for the BAE Eql to be available again - it has several hpf settings which I want to check out and compare it to the Heritage unit.

I know its 500 series vs non 500 but man do they look different.
Wouldn't that be an apples vs oranges comparison since the latter image is of a pair of stereo SL522 boards taken from a 5000-series console? So AFAIK you're actually seeing 4 channels of EQ electronics in that image. I assume this 242 EQ card would be a better representation, minus the filter section which isn't present on the 611EQ/E-EQ 500 series modules:

The CAPI LC and BT are great. I may be ordering a pair of LCs fairly soon here. I need me some mojo’d EQs and I love the silver bullets API flavor so I’m sure Capi will be very nice.

I'm partial to the old school API 560. Still hard to beat.
Purple little Q is sweet but might be too similar to the Electodyne.
The SSL? If you've spent any time on a 4k and like that EQ then the 500 will be what you'd expect.
Everything they build now is surface mount. Even the Origin desk. Not worth debating.

DIYRE EQP5s are great, fun and easy to build/mod as you wish CAPI LC25/40 is great too I think, I love the switches on them. Seriously the IAA LC95 is baller, I really need more of them.
I really want an e27 pair
BT50 is on my list to get and try
And I preorded some LinkAudioDesgins SSL EQ clones that just came out that look super promising.
