Amazing the used market doesn't seem to be flooded with them, and Alibaba is such a cluster I can't even see them on there for the $4 they probably cost.
Anyone?
You know, the thing that comes with Apex 460's, MK67's, and a ton of other Chinese tube mics.
Looking for the 6V filament version, but I could make the 12V version work too.

I'm back at the studio tomorrow and THINK I might have one laying around. I'll check it out.

6V and what? Are they 150V?
I can send one of my smps boards. I'd be interested how it works for something like a regular mic.

I’m actually using it to power a preamp that required DC filaments from a battery originally, I’ve tested the changes to get 180V at 8mA on another one, and 6V hangs fine but should have the regulator current rating raised along with a bigger heatsink. Or ditch it in favor of power resistor drop in the filtering, it’s eating 700mA. More or less chasing the most inexpensive box / PT / connector package.

Well, I'd still send you one if you wanted to give it a try. It should be able to hit 180V. Heater supply does 6-12V with a 15V input although I've only run it at 6V with these little russian pentodes. Since it's SMPS there's very little heat.

Happy to try one out, I've got another tube mic project, not sure when I'll get to it though. Let me keep that in the back of my mind, I don't want to waste your time sending one when I'm not sure when I'll get to it.
