Pardon my over-the-top enthusiasm here, but this is probably the best clean compressor plugin I've ever used. "True zero" (same sample) attack time and an FIR lookahead mode that has the least amount of distortion I've heard in a SW compressor, even at ridiculous settings. Attack and release curves are insanely musical. You can do 15dB GR and it won't sound choked or weird. Low CPU and minimalist controls + GUI. I think this is going to become a go-to for me. Just used it on a drum machine track, hard knee, parallel blend (always love this feature), program dependent release, the Natural sidechain EQ seemed to really open up the bass drum so I left it on that setting.
Thanks for the tip, this is great.

Here's a sound test with the FIRcomp on Xils Stix CM (free) drum machine VST
Guitar noodling over a simple rhythm. Not an artistic statement just a jam.
UAD Studer tape on both instruments Z Wreck amp model in Amplitube 5, Jazzblaster guitar no channel EQ Little bit of mix bus EQ, PA SPL Passeq to lift 40 Hz and 10 kHz just a tiny bit And then Elevate limiter at the end
It's kind of fun to put zero effort into a track, 3 minutes max creation time, and then just mix for fun to test new plugins.

I have it going in PT (2020.9.1, Catalina) with BlueCat Patchwork. No issues so far.
