I'll say the same thing I said in response to my friend's Facebook post about this, which was "oh my sweet baby Jesus LORD HAVE MERCY"

Holy ^&%$@$#%%&(*)_*)_(^^&$$%#$%#^&(_+
My jaw dropped, and I almost teared up. To see a real band again, connected, joyful, confident and brilliant, so tight they're loose is amazing.

A lot can be gleaned, just from those few minutes of video!
This is gonna be a great resource for those of us that care. Haha
I'm not a Beatles fan per se... But I can't personally wait to watch this!
And man it's so good to see them happy, and having fun making a record. God only knows, that's why I got into this damn business to start with.
That put a BIG SMILE on my face to see that. Can't wait to see the film.
Great stuff.

There's something so magical about old footage being restored and brought up to HD. It blows my mind. Can't wait to see the whole film!

Simply amazing to watch this. The small detail of watching Lennon smacking out the chords on the intro is yet another example of how this group of “non virtuosos” had an uncanny genius for getting the right sound out of their instrument.

Yeah, two descriptions I don't normally use apply to these guys, genius and prolific songwriting on a grand scale,....and I agree not only will it be interesting to see the history restored to HD but I'll be taking in the gear choices and placement also

The previously unseen footage blows me away; hard to believe there would be any particularly so interesting. Saw Ron Howard's "8 days a Week" a few days ago; that was great and I would have thought he'd have picked the eyes out of available footage but this looks even better if it sustains for the full movie.
The other thing that stood out was the open camaraderie between them even as it was getting to the band's end. loved it.
The other other thing was the lovely mics that would look so good at my place!
Cheers, Ross

It also explains why I could never get the intro to that song sounding right.....

I think this will really be wonderful. I love his little dig about covid as well... Simply amazing to watch this. The small detail of watching Lennon smacking out the chords on the intro is yet another example of how this group of “non virtuosos” had an uncanny genius for getting the right sound out of their instrument. I feel like John Lennon the guitar player doesn't get enough due. He was quite a good player. Watch the Dirty Mac on the Rolling Stones Rock 'n Roll Circus. Cheers, Ross I just discovered and watched that this week on HULU. It is really good as well.

[...] exclusively on Disney+. Time to look into a free trial of Disney+.
Thanks for the share, I definitely didn't see this thread before, and certainly hadn't heard about this project. Extremely excited.

I think the first thread video in December of last year was a sneak peak from the director and they were aiming to release the film in theaters in Sept of this year originally. But due to the length of the pandemic and its impact on movie theater's, they must have made a deal to release it on Disney+ in November instead, and why there's a new and different trailer for that change of plans I'd guess.
