Ooh nice, thanks for the heads up, they’re cool enough in my book! I know they’re well-acknowledged superstars, but I feel like they’re under appreciated on an artistic level these days. They were Bowie-grade stylistic chameleons, moving effortlessly and performing consistently from psychedelic-pop to hard-hitting r&b and soul, but it seems by and large that my generation is mostly familiar with the disco era hits. Plus, from a production standpoint their albums were always nearly flawless imo.
