Been looking for some "oddball" virtual pianos lately — so far, I know of the following:
NI Una Corda NI Noire Simple Sam Vintage Upright (this one is really excellent) Cinematique Deconstructed Piano Keyscape
Anything else I should check out?

I may be overly sensitive, but use of the word "Weird" in a title on these forums right now elicits an immediate response of "oh no, not again!".

Sonic Couture has a few IIRC. “Toy Piano” being one of them.

Dude, this is AWESOME. Thanks for sharing. Pretty much exactly the kind of stuff I'm after! I like the Ships piano, the Ghost Piano, the Dulcitone, Cloud Cello, etc. There are many more. Watch the walkthroughs on YouTube. There's a lot of great videos showcasing all of the sounds and how to get them. FYI, you can save money if you bundle several of them together. In think you have to email them to get the bundle pricing. Also, I just found out that Spitfire is selling prepackaged bundles of various Sound Dust products on their website as well.

Awesome lo-fi piano: Lekko by Felt instruments. They put out some new cello and viola instruments are great too (if you like character). feltinstruments.com/Lekko

I grabbed their free 'Wolno' piano last night and it is unbelievably good. For reference, I've always loved the piano sounds on this record, and the Felt stuff totally nails it: linkAlso, their GUIs are fantastic. I want everything they sell now.

Yes these are great for moody intimate stuff like that Pines song. The developer seems really cool and I hope they get some more exposure outside the ambient/experimental/synth scene. I've got Lekko and Jasno. I've been holding off on buying the strings until I need them. You do get a nice discount from the introductory offers when they put out a new one though.
And yeah the UI is top notch, so fast to get a sound and no BS. I'm never left wondering if I could tweak something a little better.

So I discovered a goldmine the other day: Pianobook. Dozens of gorgeous sounding uprights and novelty pianos sampled and made into Kontakt/ESX24 format. Best part? Almost all of them are free. I signed up and downloaded 20 of them on the spot. HIGHLY recommend this: www.pianobook.co.ukHere's one of my favorites:
