Friends,
Has anyone recently been invoiced for the SA67? Anyone received it after paying?
Got invoiced for one a few days ago....this after two years! My initial excitement was tempered with caution, given the paid-off ADG I've been waiting on for a year.
Figured I'd get a sense for how quick these babies were sailing off before I threw a grand up to the wind.
Thanks, Malkit

I have 30 pieces shipping next Friday Just waiting on the tubes which will be here on Monday or Tuesday and then we can burn them in and get them out
I was hoping to send them this week but things are not running as smoothly with partial lock downs and being isolated for 15 days as I was quite ill.
Super excited to finally get these out to you guys
I will make 30 more in April and so on.
Be safe guys

Can't wait to put the new SA67 into my new tracks! After working so hard and long on my recent album, it's taken me a little while to get a feel for what to do next. With all that's happening now, I'm beginning to see what direction to take.

You fully paid for your ADG a year ago and haven't received it?

Through no fault of his own, Joshua had some quality issues with the original capsules, so he needed time to find a proper replacement. Tim Campbell is now making the SA67 capsules, so all will be made right soon. Chile has had great inner turmoil as well, so an unavoidable delay wasn't unexpected by those who ordered, not to mention the current pandemic causing other problems.

I paid my invoice a couple weeks ago. I really, really hope (and frankly, I expect) to be in that 30 piece shipment next Friday. stam ? Any confirmation on whether I’m in that shipment?

Aren't you still waiting ~2 years later for your ADG? You should absolutely be getting any Stam products you've got ordered as soon as anyone else does.

I don't really understand why people are being invoiced for the remaining balance on products that Stam is still waiting on parts for.

I don't really understand why people are being invoiced for the remaining balance on products that Stam is still waiting on parts for. When they invoice final balance they ‘guarantee’ shipping within 15 business days. That’s why we have paid. Josh is 3 for 3 with me on that particular promise. Well see tho, he has only a few days left :/ Haven’t heard anything yet.

Thanks for the input, guys. I paid the invoice after carefully considering. The ADG is still a bit of a setback, but my EQP shipped in less than a week's time after sending the funds.
Been wanting a 67 for many years....looking forward to hopefully trying this one, soon.

Just got my invoices for two SA67s... Paid one today, gonna do other tomorrow Very excited for these!!
Are you happy with the direction these ended up going Martin John Butler? I know you had a dialogue going back and fourth with stam to help make the ultimate 67. how did all that end up?
Also side note when I've paid my invoices with stam I got the item very shortly after ... on almost 8+ orders now (just my experience)

Paid my invoice on the SA4000 mid-Feb, have not received it yet. As far as I know, Josh is the only one working at Stam right now.

At the last communication (above, in this thread), stam said he would be shipping on Friday, April 3. As far as I can tell, he did not meet that shipment date, because I have not received mine. Obviously a lot of things have happened in the world since then, so it’s understandable to be behind schedule (yet again). But still, Josh should be communicating with us, and at least on my end, I haven’t heard anything at all.

Good news, Stam will be sending SA67's out next week. It took some time to get it to where he was satisfied. The previous versions of the SA 67 were all good, Joshua just wanted to get it even closer to the original. I'll be doing reviews and videos when it arrives. It's exciting.
I believe Josh's entire workforce is out because of Covid-19. I think he's building and shipping by himself mostly with some people working at home until they can return. It's really an impossible situation for so many of us.

Wonderful news. Thanks for the update, Martin. Stam and his team are really motoring through this epidemic. Looking forward to their latest and greatest, whenever it comes.

Yeah between a global pandemic and the political turmoil it's pretty impressive stam keeps pressing on ... Stam's slogan should be "Take the bait, it's worth the wait" LOL

I'm honestly excited about the new SA-67, I know Joshua and Tim Campbell have painstakingly worked to make it right. They have three vintage U67's at Stam to compare to, so their benchmark is as good as it gets.

If I remember correctly (and I may not), when Tim started making the capsules, there was some sort of back-and-forth about how bright the capsules ought to be. I’m wondering where things landed. I’m hoping on the mellow end of the spectrum. I guess I’m just curious about what they were comparing to...

I vaguely recall something about Tim acquiring a mint, kind of NOS U67 to have as perfect a benchmark as can be had. I don’t know if it was one Josh sent him, or one he sourced himself. I also think he made some final tweaks to his capsule design afterwards.
I would imagine having three U67’s to choose from, Stam would pick the one they like the most or the one in the middle sonically as his benchmark. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess.
I know this, Joshua said the new U67’s sound EXACTLY like the 67’s he has.
That alone makes me excited to get one, Joshua has some very good ears and a lot of experience.
