Well, I've set so many deadlines and I just ignored them... I know we are loosing one million users, I just couldn't find the energy (and time) to do it, because while we are a small company I'm the only one hands on on the code for software. Also the jump into hardware world in 2013 killed me. I want RTAS/AAX done soon... Luckily in the meanwhile some good wrapper came (FXpansion doesn't work on Mac)

AAX 64 would be even better! I am running it in ptx with blue cat audio skin Blue cat patch currently on sale Just need help getting presets loaded I have been running it on drums and i am used to sound of uA plugs, the sta certainly has good musical tone and is smoooooooth ! So my initial impression is favourable and that it brings something new to the table. I use the la2 alot

There is enough other stuff out there that I'll use something that's 64 bit coded and working in Pro Tools 11. When this comes around, I'd love to take it for a spin though.

Lovin this. If cowboy says it's good, I'm in, no doubt. Doesn't even have to be as good as UAD's emulations, but man, if it is, I'm really jazzed about this.

@johnkenn fair enough but for a guy who does all that fancy pants routing and who is so discerning with sound a bridge plug that is a great multiband eq and or a great patch and template that also lets you run your on rtas and vi plugs in pt11; right now : might have some advantages ?

I am up on the relab thread readin about them bitchin and moaning: no aax 64 bit,, oh boo hoo,,, meanwhile I am using relab, kush ect, just fine in pt 11 with the blue cat audio plug. I guess to each their own!

I guess to each their own! This blue cat wrapper may make the plugs work in 11, bit you won't be getting the 64 bit performance out of them. Until they're 64 bit aax, I'll stick with what currently works.

Isn't it $79? I demo'd it, but it seemed kinda clunky to me...

Yes exactly it lets me run 64 bit plugs in 11, it is a trade off wanting the efficiency of 11 and using some non aax 64 bit plugs: blue cat will house 64 bit vst plugs
Open blue cat, open vst plug, set , done !
I understand its not for everyone and not perfect but its an option.
