Can somebody school me on M/S stuff?

I've never mic'd a horn ensemble, but for sax or trumpet it's almost always a ribbon (or an omni). Maybe a blumlein - but again, I'd rather double track. It's usually depth, rather than width, that you're trying to get with brass!
