I have too many right now...all plugs. Ozone 9 upgrade and now I see they have a new dialogue match plug I need to read about. I was blown away by the IK BX3...then I’m hoping UAD has the 4 for $399 deal...would love to pick up Capital Chambers and the 176’s.

I'm mostly looking to see if the plugs I rely on in the Slate bundle go on sale enough to justify jumping ship on the subscription. TH-U, Repeater, Lustrous Plates, something like Verbsuite Classics...
Will definitely be trolling for other plug deals though.
Oh...and definitely Decades SDX and maybe Custom Shop as well. I get stupidly excited about new SD3 drums.

For you Superior Drums guys....I was thinking about (finally) getting SD3. What are your 5 top SDX/EZX expansions? Curious. I still like recording real drums, but I'm getting old and lazy and don't have an assistant to help me set up so.....

Ignoring plugins this year.
Possibly the Iridium, but I think Strymon are usually excluded from the deals and I don’t think the retailers up here are as flexible at going around the stuff that’s excluded.
Cheers, Geoff

Totally dependent on what production style you're after, of course, but I'd say my faves are UK Pop, Decades, Indiependent, Custom & Vintage and stock SD3 (Massenburg). I expect to like Custom Shop when I get it too, samples are good. Just listen to the drums-only audio samples on the Toontrack site and they'll tell you all you need to know. You just get the exact recorded drums so everything behaves just like if you'd tracked them yourself, except they're done in better rooms with better gear and better engineers. I like recording live drums too and have done it for years and years but for me, right now, there's no comparison. I'd never give up the V-Drums/SD3 combo. Best investment I've ever made in recording I think.

Keeping my eye, on the Soyuz Launcher. Hopefully, it'd allow me to record more vocals at home, on a dynamic.
Fun for me, to do some more recording, with the Low End "Hardware" I already have... Along with simple recording programs like Audacity and Bremmers MultitrackStudio. Honestly, I don't really enjoy more "sophisticated" DAW's. But might give Reaper a try.

If Front End has that same Coil Audio deal as they did last year, that’ll be hard to pass up. Either another CA-70 or the 286 would be sweet, though I don’t need either.

What was the Coil Audio sale last year? If they have a good one this year I’m definitely going to be getting the rack and at least one of each.

Silverbullet. Hope that happens. But probably not.
Otherwise, maybe some CAPI modules, either a few more ML2s or some LC25/40s to start moding for mastering.
Wouldn't say no to another Vcomp or A76 if the deal was there though..

Would love to find a discount on SD3. I’m ready to make the jump from Slate Drums. Also Neural DSP Nolly and Goodhertz Canopener. Do you guys think SD3 will go on sale?

I suspect they are pissing away a lot of money waiting for people to do it their way, or no way at all. And they are vindictive little bastards not even allowing their customers to view SD3 forum posts. I have a lot of Toontrack products and can make good drum performances with Avatar and Music City and the Sound City one. I'd be interested in SD3, but if they're gonna punish me for not reacting immediately to their diktat, fuck them.
