What?!? Jesus. I just spoke with him a few weeks ago. He built me a new amp for my SixTens. I had planned to write a review of these for TapeOp. Unbelievable. I had some problems with these initially (bought them used) but Norman wanted these to be right no matter, he even offered to drive down to my place.
I’m just in shock. What a loss.

I was very saddened to read about this. Norm was a really smart guy, built great stuff and treated me very well.

Reminds me of Dave Martin. Wow, I didn't know that story. I'm getting offline info that Norman's death may not be a murder, and that we can expect facts to come out at some point. Consider anything to be speculation until that time.

Sorry to hear this regarding Norm.
I think John E. may have been comparing Norm's superlative service to Dave Martin's. Chris

Sorry to hear this regarding Norm. I think John E. may have been comparing Norm's superlative service to Dave Martin's. Chris Dave Martin (Martin Audio, famous manufacturer of touring PA systems) was murdered in 1992. His body was never found but his partner was tried and convicted for his murder.

I was thinking of Dave Martin (rec.pro) & Time Jumpers. Sorry for any confusion. Chris

I’m still shocked and saddened by this. I’ve been using these Atomic Monitors for a bit, and duuude, they’re friggin’ awesome. The retro look has even grown on me.
