Hi folks.
I just uprooted after spending my entire life thus far exclusively in Los Angeles.
I never fully introduced myself here so here's a little musical background.
I got into making records as a teenager and landed some cool producing gigs in the 90's. Of course Napster killed them budgets so I found my way into commercials.
Nowadays my day job is a composer for tv and film. The part time job is producing albums. Record budgets are spotty now so I'm picky and the finish line is way longer than composing, for my producing style at least.
My entrepreneurial goal is to sell the original gear designs I've conceived (no circuit clones!)
I've moved to Connecticut and found the old Mayor's office. It's been vacant for yearssss.
I leased 2 rooms and am currently renovating it for my studio and lab space.
I need to get to work right away (outside of the bedroom) so I'm not doing any complex floor or wall work other than some insulation and necessary renovation.
This might either be a short (boring) build thread or if I find that I’m making way too much of a racket and more soundproofing is needed then it'll be a revisited and extended one.
