Hey all -- What plug-ins do you favor for creating rhythmic / percussion loops? Whatever it is, it definitely needs to be tempo-adjustable. I'm currently working in Pro Tools 11 so AAX format / 64 bit. Thanks!

Of course! No worries at all. I knew that. BTW, the RS124 is killin'! Completed my first track with it. Offered a few options with my 64 P bass but ultimately it came down to my hollow body Jack Casady bass, using flatwound strings with foam under the bridge running thru my Fatboy Tube DI and into the Chandler RS124. Whew! Nice and thumpy, for sure. For the icing on the cake, I was wearing my McCartney tour t-shirt.

It's here and already in service on a bass track. The Chandler Limited RS124. I'm excited to get to know this piece of gear. Bass already sounds great! Attachment Deleted

Well, it's a done deal. I pulled the trigger and bought the RS124 today! Shipping from Sweetwater so if I don't have it Saturday then it'll arrive early next week. Can't wait to get it in line and start using it on tracks!

Ha! I'd love to hear stories about making manufacturers cry.
Randy Kohrs is actually a good friend of mine. Randy has just about everything in his studio and we hung out last week listening to several different pieces I've been considering.

At NAMM I couldn't make the RS124 sound bad, as much as Adam tried to stop me, it just didn't sound bad on any of Randy's demo tracks and Damn it if I didn't try ! Now if Adam and the guys up in Iowa want to send me one for a while I would be glad to continue to try and see if I can find something it sounds bad on! Welcome to the party Nashbass! What were you running thru the RS124? Just the demo tracks or any particular instruments? Thanks for the welcome, guys! I appreciate your input.

I'm torn between the Chandler Limited RS124 and a killer LA2A clone. The budget exists for one or the other but, unfortunately, not for both. To be used for bass (primarily), but also for some vocals, acoustic guitar and the occasional overdub (electric, steel guitar). Thoughts?
