If I didn't have everything I want of theirs, I'd be all over this. FabFilter is hands down my favorite plugin company.

Unless you own other ff plug ins, I don’t think they discount much more than this ?

Just snagged the new pro q 3. Couldn’t resist - glad I didn’t.

Pro Q3 took the place of Pro Q2? Do you have the ability to turn off the dynamics and just use the eq?

Pro Q3 took the place of Pro Q2? Do you have the ability to turn off the dynamics and just use the eq? The dynamics are only "on" if you choose them to be for a given band. It's so good though. There's an amazing trick for clearing up resonances. Initiate a node and hold shift while you pull down and it will set up a dynamic EQ point that still lets that spot's transient through but pulls back on the resonance of it. You can un-muddy things in an amazingly transparent way. ProQ3 is usually the first plugin on every channel for me.

Nimbus is usually my go to reverb but Pro-R is really tempting. Anybody with both have any thoughts?

Updated from Pro-Q 2 to 3. It's about the only EQ plug-in I use, and when it's not I'm using their multi-band or Waves F6 to get out some resonance/harshness, which a dynamic band will likely take care of.
If I just didn't pay a hefty chunk to the IRS I would grab Pro-DS...plan to get it before the end of the sale though

Pro-DS is the only de-esser that matters in my opinion. Most of the time you don't even have to turn any knobs. Just stick it in, and it works.

This^^^! The default setting is wonderful.
But yeah, tweak away if necessary. ProDS is the KING.

Ok so this thing (proq3) is slaying this hard rock master I’m working on. Being able to split left/right, mid/side with dynamic eq this easily - is a game changer for me. Want to give a little clarity boost that guitar solo on just the right side when it kicks in? No problem - dynamic frequency dependent expander on just the right channel that takes no time to dial in.
As much as I love good hardware - working hybrid these days really is the best of both worlds.

So is Pro-C2 or Pro-L 2 worth the upgrade? I pass up every sale when it comes to upgrading these two plugins. Don’t know if version 2 is worth the dough?

Once I got upgrade down to like $40, I said yes as I think ff some of the best plug ins.
