Personally, I've got all V9 plugs co-existing with recent purchases, which I assume are v10, all managed by the Waves Central app. No issues. I don't think I've got any current WUP eligibility. It all works and I can move licenses in the app no problem.

Lucky you ! maybe they updated it but last time I tried I had to download and install some licenses seperately: tried like 4x’s, never worked so passed .

I have V9 and V10 working together fine on my computer. It just tries to sneak an upgrade to everything V10 each time you install a new plug in. But, if you read the prompts, it’s easy to avoid
Not sure if this is still going on but personally the Waves plug-ins I often use are Aphex Exciter, DBX 160, Kramer PIE, F6, RVox, and L2 (for quick MP3 bounces)
The J37, Kramer Tape, and ADT sometimes come in handy. I think they all have more interesting sounds when you mess with the wow and flutter and some of the pitch bending soundings over start slap backs. And H Comp is useful sometimes, I like how it can set the release time to BPM

I haven't paid a WUP in years. The Abbey Roads Chamber plug is a bit of a CPU hog. Not sure if that's true for V10 users.

I love the Abbey Road Plates. I feel like I have an embarrassing amount of plate reverb plugins, including all the UAD stuff and the Soundtoys Little Plate, but the Waves AR is by far my favorite. It kills my CPU though so I still end up using my other plates sometimes. To me the PIE compressor sounds similar to the DBX 160X/160XT on drums.
I might check out the AB Chambers and ADT. But I've been annoyed with Waves WUP thing for years and there's just so many other choices these days. Only $29 now but then they will WUP my ass for a few hundred dollars every few years.

I ended up buying AR Plates, AR Chambers and AR Mastering Chain. I really didn't need any of them, but at the price, it was hard to resist. I used AR Plates last night on a vocal. It sounds very nice, though it completely kills a CPU. I think it ate about 15-20% of the total.

I use the wlm lufs meter, emo sine generator and lite phase thing, just for delaying tracks a certain number of samples. Reaper doesn't have that built in the track controls for easy access, and the included sample delay plugin is a bit clunky. The 29 pricing has succeeded, ive got a lot of (mostly unused) waves plugins. And now i bought all their synths for 29 a piece...

I use Rbass on every mix. The full bundle seems to go on sale for not much more J think though. What do you use it on? I have it it always seems like a "special effect" to me I'm wondering how you use it in a regular way?

Anybody use the rest of the Hybrid stuff besides H-Delay? I can upgrade H-Comp to the full bundle for $55, which might be worth it if H-Reverb or H-EQ are useful, otherwise just adding H-Delay would be cheaper.

H reverb is kind of wonky to me, I never really felt a strong urge to buy it or use it. H EQ I don't know... there are just so many EQ out there and you only really need a handful. H delay is obviously my favorite go-to delay, a no brainer. I have H comp but I've never really tried to use it. Once again, so many compressors, so little time.

I have H comp but I've never really tried to use it. Once again, so many compressors, so little time. After I caught myself saying this a couple to times, I thought “maybe it’s time to stop buying plugins no matter how good of a deal?” I mean, after awhile, it becomes redundant and you’re kinda just throwing money away. A bit different with hardware because you have a better chance at recouping at least some of your investment. Plugins are a sunk cost, as far as I’m concerned.

Same here. Passed on the Abbey Roads stuff because of my aging computer. I will be buying the new Valhalla Delay, though.

M-S is really well implemented in it. But I can't say i've used it all in the past 5 yrs, FWIW. Still, it's probably worth a listen. It has the saturation from the Puigtec, which I actually used to like quite a bit. Again, though, I haven't used it for a good while now, so definitely listen for yourself before taking the plunge.

Yeah I have slowed down especially with UAD plugins. These new cheap ones though are hard for me to pass up sometimes. I'm a sucker I guess. I did skip the Waves sale this time. It would probably be smart to update Cubase instead of buying some plugins.
