I have a snare track with what I thought were bad hits on the snare . Two tracks top and bottom mic bussed together. Seems to be only on the snare top.
There’s a annoying hollow ring only on a few hits thru out the song , maybe 6 hits total.
Bring up eq and sweep there it is at 262 hz , pull it down it’s gone great.
Start mixing again and there is the hollow ring again . I solo one of the offensive hits and loop to listen . It’ will be there one playback and not the next ,maybe gone a whole pass but in the next pass it’s back . WTF .
Any ideas on what could be happening?
