The Realitone one works pretty decent "in a mix". used it for years successfully. That said, I'd take a decent banjo player any day of the week....

I’m confused. I thought I just read that you WANT banjo. Are you feeling okay? Flu season is going a little long this year I guess.

I own a few banjos. I have a Reiter Round Peak and a Recording King that I put nylon strings on. But my favorite banjo is my Banjo. But he's not a vst and although he makes sounds, I wouldn't call him musical. He's pretty damn cute though.

I have the realitone one. Sigh. Put it waaaaayyyyy back in the mix very sparingly. I hate doing other people’s music lol

Banjo is easy and getting one good enough to bury is fairly inexpensive too.
But you know what banjo is best for? Kindling for an accordion fire!

Reminds me of a Hal Blaine joke from The Wrecking Crew movie DVD extras: Q: What's the definition of "perfect pitch"? A: That's when you throw an accordion into a dumpster and it crushes a banjo. Cheerz, John

Based on how cute that puppy dog is, I'd have to say "AU..." (like the the plugin format, but pronounnced "awwwww.....") ;-)

This may further lower folks opinion of me, but one of the things I'm looking forward once I move down to Asheville is getting some clawhammer lessons.

A banjo app is the most active thread on RGO today? Does this app have tubes or something?

Living in Kentucky I hear a healthy amount of good players. The better they are the harder it is to get them to stop.

Like the "Key-Tar", maybe someone should create the Sample based "Can(ned)-Jo". Perfect for MC Claw Hammer meets Bluegrass!
Then again, maybe not... Chris

I've got your VST right here. If by VST you mean "very sophisticated timbre."
