To Buffer or not to Buffer, that is the question.
I've been asked to add a headphone amp to an SSL 4k so that any audio going through the center section goes to the headphone amp also.
Is there a patch point on the patchbay I could steal for this purpose or will I have to take the signal from just in front of the volume pot and buffer that output to the headphone amp?
Thoughts? What issues will I run into? If there are other places I should look and post this question, please let me know.
