Just found out . . . mohogaudio.com/index.html
News: Mohog Audio will no longer be building new units. We had a good run and I appreciate everyone who has supported us these past years. Thank you.
Cheers, Brandon

Sad to hear, but not surprised. There are only so many people who are going to buy 1176 clones, with all the new budget clones expect to see a bunch of the smaller builders to disappear.

Espcially ones that rely heavily on one-to-one sales and don't seem concerned about communicating with customers. I've never ever understood this . . . But bright side, We have Chris Yetter taking his place stateside.

But bright side, We have Chris Yetter taking his place stateside. He who build it is most often the worst the worst person to sell it. The most offen given advice to small companies is hire someone who knows how to deal with people. Of course you have to remember most of these small builders have a real job, a family... Why should the side gig interfere with that time (sic.) ? Adding that first employee is one of the biggest expenses and finding somebody who can handle the job isn’t easy, would you believe that at Full Compass there were sales people who made more than the owners for almost 20 years?

That's a bummer, even though I sold my Mohog to help fund an Atomic Squeezebox I thought it was a great comp the years I had it.

I loved my Mohog and wish I still had it. A thing of beauty.
